Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project for the flagship platform
Create, extend, and manage custom packages while ensuring overall stability
Develop and support secure validation processes to enhance system integrity
Build and maintain Over-the-Air update mechanisms for reliable software deployments
Configure, integrate, and deploy software on ARM-based hardware platforms using Board Support Packages
Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerized edge applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges
Analyze, debug, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
Contribute to software development best practices, automation, and continuous improvement
Utilize artificial intelligence tools to improve engineering productivity and accelerate delivery

Requirements

Five or more years of experience in Linux software engineering with a focus on embedded systems
Deep hands-on expertise with the Yocto Project, including custom image creation and package management
Strong experience with embedded Linux development, kernel configuration, and system integration
Experience working with ARM-based platforms and Board Support Packages
Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in production or edge environments
Experience designing or maintaining Over-the-Air update frameworks
Programming skills in C, C++, Python, and Bash scripting
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools
Awareness of Generative AI and AI Agents for improving engineering efficiency
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience building and maintaining RHEL packages
Knowledge of secure boot, platform validation, and security practices
Experience in Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, or edge computing
Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems
Understanding of networking protocols, cybersecurity, and device security
