Role Overview

The Senior Technical Product Manager, AI Agents & Systems position is a deeply technical role based in China. Key Responsibilities

Research and define complete AI system requirements covering capabilities, behavior, and user impact.
Translate model constraints, data limits, and evaluation results into product decisions.
Balance product quality, operational latency, cost, reliability, and user experience.
Partner directly with machine learning, backend, and mobile engineering teams on system iteration.
Establish evaluation frameworks incorporating offline metrics, online experiments, and user feedback.
Drive execution through clear specifications and prioritized roadmaps.
Maintain product quality, correctness, predictability, and user trust.

Requirements

Strong foundation in computer science principles including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
Clear understanding of machine learning fundamentals and production AI system behavior.
Ability to read, review, and discuss technical design documents.
Practical experience with AI-powered products and large language model systems.
Familiarity with model evaluation, pipeline iteration, and feedback loops.
Understanding of model limitations, hallucinations, bias, and drift.
Experience owning complex technical products from inception to completion.

Nice to Have

Experience delivering AI-heavy consumer products.
Previous background working as an engineer or technical product manager.
Experience setting evaluation metrics for machine learning systems.
Familiarity with AI user experience patterns and failure handling.
Background working in zero-to-one product development environments.
