Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Formulate end-to-end AI system requirements covering functionality, behavior, and user impact.
Convert model data constraints, capabilities, and evaluation data into practical product decisions.
Balance priorities involving product quality, latency, operational costs, reliability, and user experience.
Collaborate directly with machine learning, backend, and mobile engineering teams on design and iteration.
Establish and refine evaluation frameworks utilizing offline metrics, human feedback, and online tests.
Execute product roadmaps using clear specifications, careful prioritization, and strong judgment.
Oversee the rapid, safe delivery of reliable systems supported by effective feedback loops.
Maintain complete ownership of product quality regarding user trust, predictability, and correctness.

Requirements

Solid foundation in computer science principles, system design, data structures, and algorithms.
Practical understanding of machine learning concepts and production AI system behavior.
Ability to read, examine, and participate in technical design documentation discussions.
Direct exposure to artificial intelligence products, including large language model architectures.
Experience handling model evaluations, pipeline iterations, and systematic feedback loops.
Clear intuition regarding model drift, hallucinations, biases, and operational limitations.
Demonstrated background in managing complex technical products throughout their lifecycle.
Track record of collaborating closely with machine learning professionals and senior engineers.

Nice to Have

Previous experience launching consumer applications heavily reliant on artificial intelligence.
Professional background working as an engineer or a technically focused product manager.
Experience formulating specific evaluation metrics for machine learning systems.
Strong familiarity with user experience patterns and failure handling for AI products.
Background working within zero-to-one product development environments.
