Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Research and establish end-to-end AI system requirements covering behavior, capability, and user impact
Translate data constraints, evaluation results, and model capabilities into product and system decisions
Balance trade-offs involving cost, quality, latency, UX, and reliability
Collaborate with mobile, backend, and machine learning engineers on iteration, system design, and evaluation
Develop and update evaluation frameworks utilizing online experiments, offline metrics, and human feedback
Drive execution through prioritization, strong judgment, and detailed specifications
Oversee rapid, safe, and reliable product shipments supported by feedback loops
Manage end-to-end product quality, focusing on predictability, user trust, and correctness

Requirements

Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals such as system design, data structures, and algorithms
Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and production behavior in modern AI systems
Comfort reviewing, reading, and discussing technical design documents
Hands-on exposure to LLM-based systems and AI-powered products
Experience with feedback loops, prompt or pipeline iteration, and model evaluation
Strong intuition regarding model limitations, hallucinations, bias, and drift
Significant background in end-to-end ownership of complex, technical products
Proven ability to collaborate with machine learning teams and senior engineers
Decision-making ability and strong judgment in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Capacity to balance ambition against operational and technical reality

Nice to Have

Experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products
Background working as an engineer or a highly technical product manager
Experience defining evaluation metrics for machine learning systems
Strong intuition for failure handling and AI user experience patterns
Prior background in zero-to-one product environments
