Working on a major Pan-European automotive account, the person in this role will shape strategy spanning the customer journey, from brand consideration and lead generation to lifecycle CRM, digital experiences, and retail activations.
Operating within a hands-on capacity, the team bridges creativity, data, and technology to deliver integrated agency solutions. The position exists to provide clear strategic direction by translating customer understanding, research, and cultural insights into actionable recommendations that align with commercial objectives. What you will do
- Develop strategic thinking across projects and workstreams, guiding initiatives from brief inception through creative development, client sell-in, and effectiveness measurement.
- Transform business, customer, cultural, and behavioral information into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Draft compelling strategic and creative briefs that provide creative teams with clear direction across CRM, digital, social, search, and dealership assets.
- Support end-to-end CRM communications for Passenger and Commercial Vehicles, including automated reminders, seasonal campaigns, and ad-hoc owner messaging.
- Design consideration and conversion activations for individual vehicle nameplates across UK and European markets while maintaining alignment with global brand positioning.
- Contribute to digital servicing journeys and apply modern search behavior knowledge, including Generative Engine Optimisation and LLM-ready content.
- Partner closely with Client Services, Creative, Data, and Media colleagues to build trusted client relationships and present recommendations confidently.
What you need
- Proven professional experience working as a Strategist or Senior Strategist within an agency environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic thinking from the brief stage through to creative development and final delivery.
- Strong understanding of customer behavior, customer journeys, and the integration of diverse communications and experiences.
- Practical background spanning some combination of brand, communications, CRM or lifecycle marketing, digital, social, search, or customer experience.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to present strategic thinking effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to interpret data and research to formulate meaningful insights and clear points of view.
