  • Translate federal security and compliance requirements into concrete Kubernetes and GPU infrastructure architecture and controls.
  • Support Authorization to Operate efforts under the NIST Risk Management Framework by contributing to control narratives, System Security Plans, and continuous monitoring evidence.
  • Lead proof of concept initiatives to showcase the value and viability of CoreWeave's solutions within specific environments, including classified enclaves and air-gapped deployments.
  • Act as a virtual member of the Security product and engineering teams by identifying opportunities for product enhancement and channeling federal customer requirements into the roadmap.
  • Conduct periodic technical reviews and assessments of customer workloads to pinpoint optimization opportunities and address compliance drift or control gaps.

What you need

  • U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance or active Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect, engineer, researcher, or forward-deployed engineer in cloud infrastructure focusing on distributed systems or HPC.
  • 3+ years of experience directly supporting federal customer or Defense Industrial Base engagements in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience delivering systems into accredited federal environments with demonstrated fluency in FedRAMP authorization, DoD Impact Level accreditation, RMF/ATO packages, or CMMC readiness.
  • Deep understanding of administering Kubernetes clusters, including controls such as RBAC, admission controllers, and container security.
  • Working knowledge of hardened container supply chains in regulated environments including image provenance, SBOMs, FIPS 140-validated cryptography, and STIG-compliant baselines.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with DoD network environments (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS) or IC cloud programs
  • Prior work at a Cloud Service Provider, defense prime, or federal systems integrator supporting a FedRAMP or DoD authorization boundary
