About this role

Role Overview

Crusoe is seeking a full-time Senior Solutions Engineer to join the CTO Office in New York, NY. This hands-on role involves helping enterprise customers deploy advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads onto high-performance GPU infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct technical discovery alongside Account Executives to gather requirements, map stakeholders, and address technical objections.
Execute technical demonstrations and establish proof of concept environments with clearly defined success criteria.
Build, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads on Kubernetes-based stacks while optimizing for performance and cost.
Assist clients in migrating and adapting architectures from major cloud platforms to the Crusoe infrastructure.
Document product gaps, feature requests, and bugs for the engineering team, while delivering structured feedback to product managers.
Facilitate smooth post-sale handoffs by creating transition documentation and instance summaries for customer success teams.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building, deploying, or operating cloud infrastructure involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, high-performance computing, or GPU workloads.
Direct proficiency with at least one major cloud provider, including AWS, GCP, or Azure, focused on infrastructure management rather than basic consumption.
Practical background in deploying containerized workloads utilizing Docker or Kubernetes.
Solid Linux command-line capabilities paired with scripting fluency in Python or Bash.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals such as DNS, VPCs, subnets, routing, and load balancers.
Exceptional technical communication skills, with the ability to present live demos and author practical documentation.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with distributed training or inference frameworks like PyTorch, Ray, or Kubeflow.
Infrastructure-as-Code experience utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Exposure to GPU clusters, InfiniBand, RoCE, or Slurm.
Background with monitoring and observability systems including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
Creation of public technical materials like blog posts, talks, or guides.
