About this role
Zenoti needs a seasoned engineer to address the challenge of scaling cloud-based SaaS solutions for the beauty and wellness industry while integrating modern AI-assisted development practices into the core engineering lifecycle. The engineering team builds reliable, high-scale applications that power tens of thousands of salons, spas, and fitness studios across more than fifty countries globally.
As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on .NET and AI, the successful candidate will own the end-to-end development of significant product features, design scalable cloud services, and leverage tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate delivery while exercising rigorous human oversight on security, architecture, and data integrity. This professional thrives in a fast-paced product environment, balances autonomous technical execution with cross-functional collaboration, and brings a strong security-first mindset to modern software engineering.
What you will do
- Design, build, and evolve scalable SaaS applications using .NET, C#, REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, and modern UI frameworks like Flutter or React.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of significant product features, driving estimation, planning, and technical execution without requiring escalation.
- Maintain production health for owned components by managing monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and incident response.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools across the entire engineering lifecycle for design, implementation, debugging, and testing.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to review and validate AI-generated output, ensuring security, compliance, and data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in an agile environment to deliver customer-centric workflows.
What you need
- Possess five to seven years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale SaaS applications utilizing Microsoft technologies and modern UI frameworks.
- Demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience building highly available and scalable distributed cloud services on platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Bring strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to navigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Have practical, production-level experience using modern AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
- Demonstrate strong engineering judgment for critically evaluating AI-generated code regarding security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills while operating effectively within a fast-paced, continuously evolving product organization.
Nice to have
- Experience building developer productivity tooling, prompt libraries, reusable workflows, MCP servers, or AI-enabled engineering automation.
