Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning
About this role
Roku builds the leading TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, connecting consumers to content, publishers to audiences, and advertisers to viewers. The machine learning team develops video recommendation models, advances natural language understanding for the Roku Voice system, and integrates computer vision for image classification and video understanding.
Engineers on this team build online serving APIs for recommendation models, research large language models, and implement semi-automatic annotation techniques with minimal human supervision. Professionals joining this group will re-train existing machine learning and deep learning models, evaluate performance metrics, and collaborate closely with product and engineering groups to ship features into actual product releases.
