Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (AI First)

Addressing the challenge of delivering trusted data management at enterprise scale, this role ensures customers can rely on high-integrity information across complex workflows. As part of the Master Data Management product line within the Data Integrity Suite, the successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of AI-first full stack applications. Responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, utilizing AI tools daily to accelerate workflows, refine code quality, and build scalable production features.
Working alongside cross-functional peers, architects, and product teams, this individual will drive architectural decisions while mentoring junior engineers. Ideal candidates bring deep technical proficiency in both backend and frontend systems, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for adopting AI-assisted engineering practices and agentic workflows to solve demanding technical problems.
What you will do
- Develop comprehensive full stack applications utilizing Java for backend services and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular for user interfaces.
- Design and implement REST APIs alongside service integrations specifically tailored for Master Data Management workflows.
- Drive application architecture decisions and own data models that support robust enterprise platforms.
- Incorporate AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT into daily coding, debugging, and productivity routines.
- Evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs for performance, correctness, and adherence to clean code standards.
- Lead debugging efforts and root-cause analyses for complex defects spanning front-end and backend architectures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews while mentoring junior engineering team members.
What you need
- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or possess equivalent professional work experience.
- Bring at least 4 years of hands-on software development experience with demonstrated system design capabilities.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles alongside web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React or Angular.
- Show a deep understanding of web application architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and microservices design.
- Exhibit a proven track record of implementing test-driven development strategies, unit test patterns, and code quality gates.
- Possess practical experience using AI tools for coding and debugging while being eager to adopt AI-assisted development workflows.
- Display strong communication skills with prior experience influencing technical direction and guiding junior developers.
