Role Overview

The Product Manager for the AI Platform owns the technical direction of Data Solutions on the company's AI Studio. This role contributes to broader data API, cloud, and SaaS strategies while setting the roadmap for hosted Model Context Protocol servers, skills, agents, and apps. The position bridges product management and engineering by establishing acceptance criteria, guiding sprint priorities, and resolving customer escalations across multiple delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical subject matter expert for data solutions and content on the developer portal AI Studio
Lead AI integration strategies focusing on APIs, Model Context Protocol servers, skills, agents, and apps
Build and test prototype solutions for prioritized business challenges utilizing AI tooling
Partner with sales engineering to validate proposed solutions against field use cases
Translate prototypes into hardened products by authoring detailed engineering requirements
Conduct market research on AI advancements to discover revenue opportunities and establish best practices
Manage and prioritize the backlog across engineering teams for new features, updates, defects, and technical debt
Assist support teams with customer escalations, ranging from account triage to root-cause analysis and resolution
Facilitate communication between product, engineering, quality assurance, support, and customers through weekly review calls
Contribute to release notes, technical documentation, and customer communications

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a technical domain such as software development, solutions engineering, data analytics, or quality assurance
Foundational understanding of the modern AI ecosystem, including large language models, AI agents, Model Context Protocol servers, and API developer tools
Practical experience deploying AI applications like Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT through professional tasks, coursework, or personal projects
Competency in reading REST API documentation and comprehending software architecture concepts
Strong written and verbal communication abilities for translating technical topics to varied stakeholders
Demonstrated commitment to self-driven learning and curiosity regarding artificial intelligence and machine learning
Availability for occasional international travel

Nice to Have

Previous internship or project background in product management, business analysis, or solution engineering
Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs including schema exploration and integration testing
Familiarity with location data, address geocoding, geographic information systems, or data quality principles
Exposure to hyperscaler environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP alongside API marketplaces
Comprehension of agent-native API architectures and developer experience
