Role Overview

TRM Labs is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to join its R&D department on a full-time, remote basis within the United States. This role suits an autonomous and collaborative engineer with strong computer science fundamentals who is eager to build high-impact web applications for blockchain analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Build a large-scale web application that manages billions of transactions using React and Redux.
Partner closely with Backend Engineers, Designers, and Product teams to build features and ship products.
Identify and resolve frontend performance issues.
Participate actively in code and design reviews.
Develop a thorough understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies to guide product design and direction.
Collaborate with product leads and customers to define a brand-new category of enterprise software.
Maintain currency on frontend best practices and use AI fluency to accelerate repeatable workflows, solve problems, and elevate output quality.

Requirements

Extensive professional experience with modern front-end frameworks like React.js or Vue.js, along with CSS-in-JS libraries such as styled-components.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals paired with a knack for great design and intuitive UX.
Experience designing and building data-heavy front-end applications.
Adaptability and the ability to anticipate and react quickly when goals shift rapidly.
Autonomous work ethic with a strong sense of personal ownership and urgency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
US Citizenship is required for this position.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated US base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $230,000 per year, determined by individual skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
