Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and build scalable infrastructure solutions utilizing Kubernetes, AWS, and modern distributed patterns.
Lead the infrastructure team roadmap to elevate system reliability, recoverability, and scalability standards.
Drive capacity planning, conduct benchmarking, and stress-test systems to identify bottlenecks and prepare for business growth.
Define, maintain, and enforce service level agreements and alerts across the entire infrastructure.
Spearhead AI enablement initiatives to integrate automation and AI tooling for enhanced infrastructure reliability and developer output.
Ensure consistency and scalability across a distributed microservices architecture while preserving performance.
Establish engineering best practices regarding observability, security, and CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor engineering peers and foster an operational culture rooted in learning, innovation, and high standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of professional software or infrastructure engineering experience, incorporating deep SRE and backend expertise.
Must have deployed significant changes to a production application or infrastructure configuration within the past 30 days.
Strong proficiency in Golang, backed by experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Expertise in SQL-based relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL, alongside schema and query optimization for high-scale performance.
Proficiency with observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic.
Solid comprehension of distributed systems design patterns like event-driven architectures, stream processing, and transactional outboxes.
Demonstrated capability to champion new ideas, influence decisions, and spearhead complex technical initiatives.
Required experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools to elevate productivity and research.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Availability to consistently work during the fixed schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST.

Nice to Have

Practical background working with AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS Aurora RDS for MySQL and Postgres.
Previous involvement in data engineering, data pipelines, and data warehousing tasks.
Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines for containerized microservices running in Kubernetes.
Exposure to AI developer tooling including Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, and Cursor.
Documented track record of launching commercial APIs and data-driven applications inside high-growth environments.
