Managing the enterprise eDiscovery lifecycle and leading digital forensics for insider risk investigations forms the core of daily responsibilities in this role. The Insider Risk Team safeguards specialized high-performance computing infrastructure and proprietary intellectual property, bridging technical detection, forensic rigor, and corporate governance. Daily activities involve collecting massive amounts of data from company infrastructure, filtering raw telemetry into clear timelines, and architecting AI-powered automation tooling for data preservation.
Operating within a privacy-first approach, the position requires designing governance policies, supporting legal holds, and building automated scripts that synthesize disparate user activity logs. A successful candidate brings deep technical expertise in managing enterprise eDiscovery platforms, cloud audit logs, and digital forensics software while navigating high-sensitivity environments with sound ethical judgment.
What you will do
- Manage the enterprise eDiscovery process to ensure compliance with legal standards regarding data collection, processing, and review.
- Lead forensic analysis for insider risk investigations and coordinate digital forensics for legal activities.
- Architect and build AI-powered automation tooling to drive data aggregation and preservation.
- Design and tune governance policies across the eDiscovery program, investigations, and data classification.
- Support litigation holds by preserving communications and files relevant to active or potential lawsuits.
- Select, implement, and maintain specialized eDiscovery software and digital forensics tools.
- Build automated scripts to merge disparate user activity logs into chronologically accurate timelines for investigators.
What you need
- 7+ years of experience in Security Operation alongside 4+ years of eDiscovery experience.
- Strong knowledge of eDiscovery principles including EDRM and Legal Hold Administration.
- Deep proficiency in analyzing and querying cloud audit logs to reconstruct user activity.
- Experience handling unstructured data extraction, normalization, and indexing at cloud-native scale.
- Deep technical experience managing enterprise eDiscovery platforms, digital forensics software, and SIEM infrastructure.
- Direct experience executing data collections and preserving evidence under strict digital chain-of-custody protocols.
- Proficiency in at least one query language such as SQL or ES/QL.
- Ability to script or automate collection workflows using programming languages like Python or Go.
