Samsung Research America needs a seasoned product manager to lead intelligent mobile security and productivity solutions within the Mobile Platform Solutions Enterprise Security and Innovation Lab. Team members work alongside designers, researchers, and engineers to build offerings that impact millions of mobile device users across consumer and enterprise markets.
Owning product strategy and execution requires deep knowledge of Android security architecture and mobile threat defense. The right person for the job combines technical fluency in device-level protections with strong stakeholder management skills to guide product launches from conception to market. What you will do
- Drive and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for advancing Samsung mobile security and AI offerings.
- Leverage expertise in Android and Android Enterprise security to identify opportunities for Samsung to innovate and deliver enhanced capabilities.
- Collaborate with industry-leading ecosystem partners across mobile OS, device management, and endpoint protection platforms to increase market share.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities across consumer and enterprise segments.
- Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and validate product direction.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure robust GTM plans and successful product launches.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders while championing user experience.
What you need
- Hold an engineering degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Bring seven or more years of product management experience in mobile security, device management, mobile threat defense, or related fields.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Android OS security architecture including security framework APIs, permission models, secure boot, and trusted execution environments.
- Possess familiarity with device-level threat models, protections, MDM/UEM platforms, and mobile threat defense solutions.
- Understand Android Enterprise APIs, capabilities, and deployment scenarios.
- Show a proven track record of successfully driving innovation and launching mobile solutions.
- Communicate effectively with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Background in B2C mobile security product management
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in mobile security and threat detection
- Familiarity with cloud-based security platforms such as XDR, SIEM, and SOAR

What is the salary range for this role?
The base pay range for roles at this level is $163,600 to $224,600 USD. Individual rates depend on factors including the role's function and location as well as the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
What travel is required for this position?
The role requires a willingness to travel internationally under 25 percent.
