Role Overview

Samsung Research America is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Gen AI in Digital Health to work at its facility in Mountain View, CA. The professional in this role will guide the creation and expansion of generative artificial intelligence exercise coaching capabilities within Samsung Health. The position focuses on developing innovative product concepts, establishing strategic direction, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver health technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Direct product management duties including market analysis, user need identification, strategy formulation, roadmap creation, product definition, business case creation, and KPI tracking.
Expand the exercise coaching features for the next generation of exercise products on Samsung Health.
Partner with the design team to convert complex challenges into straightforward, streamlined solutions.
Rank feature development tasks to achieve the highest impact based on accessible resources.
Coordinate product creation alongside technical program managers and development leads spanning research, design, building, validation, and release.
Manage product requirement documents, user guides, and performance reporting while acting as the central contact for stakeholders including executives, engineering, design, legal, and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on building health or wellness applications.
Strong communication abilities to distill complex issues into clear insights and requirements.
Capability to interpret user data and translate user research findings into functional product specifications.
Demonstrated business agility to handle rapid, ambiguous, and shifting environments while juggling multiple duties.

Nice to Have

Master of Business Administration degree.
Working knowledge of fitness coaching.
Familiarity with the artificial intelligence and machine learning product development lifecycle, including artificial intelligence evaluations.
Personal interest in fitness activities such as running, biking, or swimming to better connect with users.
