Role Overview

TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the R&D team on a full-time, remote basis within the United States. This role suits an experienced designer who wants to shape complex B2B products that empower investigators and compliance teams to disrupt financial crime and enhance global security.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design for core workflows across public and private sector products, managing projects from initial sketches to final shipping.
Design intuitive agentic experiences that show AI reasoning, sources, and confidence levels while defining clear paths for human review and intervention.
Build and contribute reusable patterns back to the design system to support both human designers and AI toolsets.
Maintain a high bar for quality by conducting tight build reviews with engineering teams.
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers across discovery and launch cycles, adjusting designs dynamically during build phases.

Requirements

Strong portfolio demonstrating craft in data-heavy B2B products with sharp information architecture and robust interactions.
Demonstrated ownership to drive design forward independently and pull cross-functional partners in early.
Agentic fluency with experience designing product surfaces utilizing AI or automation, or a clear point of view on how it differs from traditional UI.
Systems thinking background with experience contributing to or scaling a shared design system.
Ability to move fast with strong judgment regarding when polish matters versus when to ship early iterations.

Nice to Have

Familiarity or experience with utilizing tools like React in prototyping or design workflows.
