Role Overview
The Senior Partner Insights Manager - EDU at Handshake is a full-time remote position designed for an analytical operator to turn data into better decisions, stronger partner relationships, and improved student outcomes. This role sits comfortably at the intersection of analytics, partner strategy, and data product development.
Key Responsibilities
Own high-impact analytics and reporting initiatives for EDU Partnerships from problem definition through delivery and iteration.
Build and evolve internal and partner-facing data products, dashboards, reports, and narratives that track partner health and student engagement.
Deliver direct-to-partner insights including business reviews, benchmarking, and analyses that showcase company impact.
Translate ambiguous questions into clear analytical methodologies, metrics, and actionable recommendations using SQL and modern BI tools.
Partner with Product and R&D teams on embedded analytics experiences and incorporate stakeholder feedback into reporting priorities.
Present clear findings and recommendations to various audiences, ranging from individual contributors to senior leaders.
Enable adoption of reporting products by creating documentation, guidance, and rollout support for internal users.
Requirements
Possess 5+ years of professional experience in analytics, business operations, customer success operations, revenue operations, product operations, data products, or related fields.
Demonstrate strong analytical judgment regarding data limitations, methodology risks, and quality verification.
Bring experience utilizing AI-assisted analytics or workflow tools alongside strict validation standards.
Display competent SQL skills and hands-on experience using business intelligence and analytics tools to build and improve reporting.
Show a proven ability to lead analytical work independently from discovery to delivery, including requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to turn intricate analyses into concise, compelling narratives.
Maintain high attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, ambiguous work environment.
Nice to Have
Experience working in higher education, career education, SaaS, or related partner-oriented settings.
Familiarity with company products, educational partnerships, career services, or student engagement workflows.
Previous background in partner-facing analytics, executive reporting, business reviews, or benchmarking.
