Key Responsibilities

Design and build systems to enhance the quality, scale, and safety of data generated and acquired for frontier model training.

Translate research, compliance, and partner requirements into hypotheses, experiments, and production-quality implementations.

Construct and improve data-processing pipelines, evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and quality-control mechanisms.

Execute rapid iteration loops by prototyping, evaluating, and turning insights into durable software products.

Collaborate with researchers, legal stakeholders, domain experts, and customers to handle data responsibly and maintain high utility.

Productize repeatable patterns from various engagements into reusable platforms.

Maintain high technical standards through design judgment, code quality, and clear communication.

Requirements

Possess two to ten years of recent, demonstrated experience in synthetic or LLM-generated data, model evaluation, post-training work, privacy engineering, or large-scale data anonymization.

Maintain a hands-on individual contributor background without management responsibilities.

Demonstrate strong Python programming abilities for writing clean, efficient software handling large real-world datasets.

Apply sound judgment regarding data quality, risk assessment, and utility metrics.

Design systems with an understanding of tradeoffs involving scale, reliability, quality, and reuse.

Operate comfortably in ambiguous environments requiring substantial personal ownership.

Nice to Have

Experience building large-scale synthetic or LLM-generated data pipelines for model training.

Background in large-scale data de-identification or anonymization involving relational or graph-structured data.

History of developing agent benchmarks, LLM evaluation methodologies, or annotation systems.

Applied work or research in reinforcement learning, alignment, model behavior, or human-in-the-loop setups.

Prior experience in regulated data environments like healthcare, finance, or government, alongside re-identification risk assessment.
