Judi Health is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead the design and implementation of advanced artificial intelligence systems in a hybrid work environment across New York, Denver, or Charlotte. Key Responsibilities

Direct machine learning projects from initial planning to final delivery, maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Guide team members through regular performance reviews, constructive feedback, and career development support.
Lead a team while actively contributing to productionizing machine learning solutions focused on document understanding, search, virtual agents, and generative AI.
Oversee API design to integrate artificial intelligence models and backend services smoothly.
Manage the entire machine learning lifecycle, covering problem definition, data exploration, feature engineering, training, validation, and deployment.
Take part in code reviews, software testing, and quality assurance activities.
Identify and resolve technical problems tied to artificial intelligence model deployment and integrations.
Document architectural decisions and system designs clearly for stakeholders.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to safeguard healthcare data security and compliance.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
Bring a minimum of 8 years of industry experience, or 4 years with a Master's degree, focusing on machine learning solutions development and production deployment.
Possess at least 3 years of engineering management experience leading teams of 4 or more engineers.
Demonstrate practical experience working across the complete artificial intelligence development lifecycle.
Exhibit a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, efficient algorithms, and quality software development practices.
Show a passion for customer focus, innovation, product quality, service excellence, and test engineering.
Maintain the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.
Display strong written and verbal communication skills.
