Role Overview

In this lead individual contributor role within the Creative Studio, the professional will develop engaging, culturally relevant work for Bumble Inc.'s family of brands. Operating within a geographically diverse in-house team, the designer works alongside copywriters, motion designers, art directors, and external production partners. Based in the UK and reporting to the Design Lead in London, the person in this position will handle global campaigns, social content, and marketing initiatives across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Design a broad range of communications spanning print, digital, social, growth, marketing, and global campaign work.
Take full ownership of complex briefs from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring high-quality and on-brand delivery.
Collaborate closely with copywriters, motion designers, and art directors to produce cohesive brand material.
Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, contributing strong creative ideas and a distinct point of view.
Present completed work to key stakeholders, articulating design decisions clearly in relation to project briefs.
Uphold and champion brand standards across all touchpoints and international markets.
Manage personal workloads efficiently, proactively communicating timeline considerations and resource needs.
Translate marketing and product briefs into effective creative solutions.
Stay informed on emerging design trends, cultural moments, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Seven or more years of design experience, ideally within the tech sector.
Robust portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and exceptional craft across print, digital, social, and campaign channels.
Expert command of modern design applications, including Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
Strong understanding of foundational design principles such as typography, layout, and color theory.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidence in stakeholder presentations.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple briefs, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong time-management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
