About this role
Developing and maintaining solutions to scale the testing and validation of global infrastructure occupies the core of daily operations in this engineering group. The team builds and evolves a GPU performance testing platform designed to ensure reliable and performant experiences for customers scaling artificial intelligence workloads.
Engineers in this group build automation workflows, troubleshoot Kubernetes custom controllers, and adapt open-source tools to improve system visibility and hardware validation across the fleet. Collaboration is constant with product, fleet, and hardware partners to solve complex reliability challenges at production scale.
Ideal candidates bring several years of software engineering experience with Go or Python, alongside a strong background managing Kubernetes environments in production. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting with infrastructure-level scaling challenges will find a natural home supporting these critical validation systems.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain software solutions that address scaling challenges for infrastructure testing and validation.
- Build and refine performance tests alongside automation workflows to expand hardware validation across the fleet.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators used to automate infrastructure testing.
- Adapt and extend open-source tooling to improve visibility into system metrics, performance, and overall health.
- Participate in a regular on-call rotation to support production systems.
What you need
- Demonstrate approximately five to eight years of professional software development experience.
- Show core competency in programming with Go and/or Python.
- Bring hands-on operational experience with Kubernetes at production scale.
- Meet U.S. Government export control compliance requirements for accessing controlled information.

What is the compensation range for this role?
The base salary range for this role is $182,000.00 to $242,000.00. The starting salary is determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
What technical skills are required?
Candidates need approximately 5 to 8 years of experience with competency in Go and/or Python software development. Additionally, hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale is required.
