To address operational scaling challenges as a newly public company, CoreWeave needs a leader to centralize and standardize foundational business processes across Finance, HR, and Procurement. The Senior GBS Financial Operations Manager will direct the Global Business Services function, defining end-to-end global processes and implementing robust controls to ensure compliance and efficiency. This person will lead a distributed team, champion process automation, and introduce AI tooling to streamline manual accounting and shared services workflows.
The ideal candidate brings extensive background in shared services leadership and public company compliance, combining strategic change management with hands-on execution. What you will do
- Lead the Global Business Services function to drive operational efficiency and service quality across worldwide operations.
- Define, map, and implement standardized end-to-end processes for Procure-to-Pay, Hire-to-Retire, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report.
- Track and report on Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators using data analytics to identify bottlenecks and measure service delivery.
- Establish internal controls and operational risk management to ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
- Pilot and scale AI tooling to automate manual accounting processes while establishing a governance framework for responsible AI adoption.
- Champion the implementation of GBS technology platforms like ERP and workflow automation tools to maximize scalability.
- Partner with executive stakeholders across Finance, HR, and Procurement to align shared services strategy with organizational objectives.
- Drive large-scale cross-functional projects including system implementations, ERP upgrades, and merger and acquisition integrations.
What you need
- Possess at least 8 years of progressive experience in Finance, Operations, or Shared Services.
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of management experience leading a Global Business Services or shared services organization.
- Demonstrate a practical understanding of SOX 404 compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements within a publicly traded company environment.
- Show a proven track record of scaling global shared service centers and managing teams across different geographies and time zones.
- Exhibit deep expertise in business process analysis and design for procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and hire-to-retire functions.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $180,000. The starting salary is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location.
