Key Responsibilities

Build, test, release, and maintain production-level software across the entire codebase with complete ownership of critical features.
Direct technical design meetings and implement key architectural enhancements to elevate system scalability and reliability.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix complicated system problems spanning hardware, networks, and backend services.
Review system performance, resource costs, and scalability regularly while updating legacy code for smooth expansion.
Collaborate within agile sprints alongside product experts and peers to ensure software development matches business goals.
Perform detailed code reviews and provide feedback to maintain high quality, performance standards, and maintainability.
Update technical documentation and guide junior engineers and co-op students as the department grows.

Requirements

Extensive background in designing, launching, and supporting robust full-stack software applications.
Strong coding fluency in languages such as Python, TypeScript, and Kotlin, alongside modern frameworks like Spring Boot.
Deep understanding of distributed microservices, Apache Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
Proven expertise in managing AWS cloud applications and container orchestration tools like Docker.
Direct experience handling large datasets, IoT systems, and data platforms including Snowflake and Redis.
Familiarity with modern AI agentic tools to balance human-driven and AI-assisted software delivery.
Natural leadership capabilities focused on mentoring peers, guiding technical discussions, and promoting continuous learning.
