Role Overview

LeanData is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for a full-time position based in Santa Clara with remote flexibility. This role suits an experienced developer who excels at building end-to-end features, modernizing legacy systems, and utilizing AI development tools across the entire software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deliver features from initial specification through production deployment.

Take ownership of major technical tasks and promote best practices and engineering standards within the team.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools fluidly across all phases of the software development lifecycle while helping improve team adoption.

Troubleshoot and fix production issues spanning both modern and legacy codebases across the full stack.

Requirements

Demonstrated hands-on experience in building and deploying full-stack web applications to production.

Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools and strong practical judgment.

Background in designing scalable systems, services, data models, interfaces, and service boundaries.

Solid understanding of technical trade-offs ranging from architectural design to code implementation.

Proven history of frequent delivery utilizing CI/CD pipelines and iterative code reviews.

Strong expertise in TypeScript alongside experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.

Ability to work comfortably within a large, mature codebase containing both legacy and modern elements.

Effective written and verbal communication skills to clarify ambiguity and guide team direction.

Nice to Have

Practical background creating customer-facing or agent-based artificial intelligence products.

Backend proficiency utilizing Node.js, Express, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with designing and consuming REST APIs along with asynchronous services.

General knowledge regarding cloud-based systems, product deployments, and cross-platform solutions.

History of updating and modernizing legacy front-end architectures.

Experience with Apex, Salesforce triggers, SOQL, governor limits, bulkification, and test patterns.

Possession of a Salesforce Platform Developer certification.

Background working with ISV environments or managed packages.

Knowledge of Visualforce or Lightning Web Components.
