Role Overview

Peek is looking for a remote Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Mexico to build and operate advanced AI-first engineering systems. This role suits an experienced developer who is excited to use AI tools daily to design and ship impactful products for the experiences industry.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and divide ambiguous product problems into concrete tasks for AI agents to execute and deliver from design to production.

Design and operate complex agent orchestration systems to ship real product features.

Create clean, consistent APIs and robust data models built for long-term scalability.

Share knowledge, document successful patterns, and contribute directly to the internal AI-first engineering culture.

Utilize AI coding tools efficiently to compress implementation time while critically reviewing all generated output.

Work alongside Product and Design teams to find specification gaps, handle edge cases, and maintain a high standard of quality.

Requirements

Bring at least 5 years of professional software development experience utilizing Java and/or JavaScript.

Possess strong backend fundamentals covering API design, data modeling, SQL, service reliability, and production debugging.

Demonstrate daily usage of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Augment, Codex, or Cursor in a professional workflow.

Exhibit the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for logic errors, security risks, and maintainability.

Apply strong system design instincts to navigate tradeoffs, system failures, and scaling challenges.

Communicate technical choices clearly, flag specification issues, and collaborate constructively.

Nice to Have

Background in developing B2B SaaS solutions, particularly with multi-tenant data models or transactional workflows.

Experience working within small, high-output engineering teams making autonomous architectural decisions.

Frontend proficiency using Angular or modern JavaScript frameworks to deliver end-to-end features.

Previous industry exposure in travel, hospitality, or the experiences sector.

Familiarity with Elixir or other functional programming languages.
