Role Overview

ConnectNGo, a brand under Peek, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join its engineering department. The professional in this position will work remotely from Mexico, focusing on frontend applications and shared tooling that power venues, attractions, and operators. The ideal candidate brings extensive development experience, a passion for Vue and TypeScript, and fluency in utilizing AI coding tools to accelerate feature delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Vue and Nuxt frontend applications for ticketing, point-of-sale systems, and back-office configuration tools.

Create and manage shared internal SDKs, component libraries, and project boilerplates used across multiple frontend teams.

Implement agent-assisted workflows to enhance delivery speed while strictly reviewing all code before merging.

Partner closely with Product and Design teams to identify specification gaps and uphold quality bars through thorough code reviews and test coverage.

Requirements

Bring at least 5 years of total frontend development experience, including 2 or more years working with Vue, TypeScript, Nuxt or similar frameworks, and Vite.

Demonstrate strong Vue 3 and TypeScript fundamentals, encompassing component architecture, state management with Pinia or Vuex, and accessibility.

Possess experience consuming REST APIs via shared SDKs and managing form validations.

Exhibit solid coding practices, including formal code reviews, testing with Vitest or Vue Test Utils, and continuous integration workflows.

Show robust system design instincts concerning tradeoffs, edge cases, and performance budgets.

Maintain daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, coupled with sound judgment to critically review AI-generated code.

Communicate clearly and empathetically to scope ambiguous tasks and collaborate constructively across distributed teams.

Nice to Have

Comfort navigating the full delivery pipeline, including build tooling, GitLab CI/CD, and containerized deployments using Docker.

Experience with cloud infrastructure ownership, publishing internal npm packages, or managing design systems and boilerplates.

Frontend observability and monitoring tooling familiarity.

Previous B2B or point-of-sale background within the attractions and venue industry.
