The Senior Data Scientist, Full Stack position at TRM Labs in Brazil is a remote opportunity for an experienced professional to build AI-powered intelligence solutions that combat financial crime and global security threats. Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end attribution for a designated risk category by identifying high-impact targets and shipping algorithms including heuristics, machine learning models, and AI agents to production.
Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned risk category, translating customer requirements and go-to-market needs into actionable intelligence.
Investigate network, on-chain, and protocol intelligence layers to uncover unique patterns that competitors cannot replicate.
Write production-quality code, data pipelines, and heuristics with rigorous evaluation frameworks and scalable architectures.
Deliver measurable results by helping trace, prevent, or seize billions of dollars in illicit funds.

Requirements

Possess a quantitative academic background in fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or Physics.
Bring 6 or more years of professional experience in an analytical role utilizing strong Python and SQL skills.
Demonstrate domain curiosity with the ability to quickly absorb and apply expertise in blockchain, fraud, cybercrime, or money laundering.
Experience with distributed data systems like Spark, BigQuery, and Airflow, alongside shipping production-grade code.
Strong async communication skills using tools like Slack, Notion, and Loom, with the capability to operate independently in a distributed environment.
Must maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with PST business hours for meetings and collaboration.

Nice to Have

Deep machine learning experience.
Prior professional background working in crypto, financial crime, or financial institutions.
