About this role
Analytical professionals who enjoy tackling complex security data problems and transforming technical research into production-ready product capabilities will find a strong fit within the Axonius Asset Intelligence Research team. Operating from the Tel Aviv office in a hybrid arrangement, the team focuses on enhancing the Axonius asset intelligence platform by discovering, classifying, and securing enterprise assets at scale.
Working directly alongside Product and Development teams, the person in this role will lead end-to-end research projects examining asset data quality, fidelity, enrichment, and correlation across devices, software, and SaaS types. The position exists to bridge the gap between deep security data analysis and tangible product features, helping customers manage and prioritize their entire asset inventories effectively.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end research projects focusing on asset data quality, fidelity assessment, enrichment, and correlation across device, identity, software, and SaaS asset types.
- Utilize Python, SQL, and AI/LLM tools to build data analysis pipelines, automate asset research, and prototype enrichment and classification logic.
- Research and define gating conditions that evaluate assets across three dimensions including existence, classification, and risk and criticality.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to transform technical research into production-ready product capabilities.
What you need
- Bring four or more years of professional experience in security research, cyber asset management, threat intelligence, or security data analysis.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Python for scripting and automation alongside SQL for querying complex, large-scale security datasets.
- Possess hands-on experience integrating AI and LLMs into technical workflows to accelerate data analysis, parsing, and research output.
- Maintain a practical understanding of security data sources and signal quality, covering EDRs, MDMs, CMDBs, network scanners, cloud providers, and SaaS management tools.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise cybersecurity product environments.
- Experience in cybersecurity asset management, IT asset management, or cyber asset attack surface management.
- Experience designing asset fidelity or criticality scoring logic that combines signals across multiple data sources.
- Proven track record of framing open-ended security data problems into scalable software feature requirements.
