This senior consultant role operates within a banking Data for AI programme, bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution. The person in this position will assess current data practices, map complex data flows, lead stakeholder workshops, and translate findings into practical requirements and target-state improvements.

What you will do
- Assess current-state data governance, ownership, stewardship, access, controls, and data processes across the organization.
- Collaborate across AI and data use cases to understand requirements, source systems, data flows, and consumption patterns.
- Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops involving business, data, and technology teams.
- Map business processes and data flows to identify gaps, bottlenecks, manual effort, and unclear accountability.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business and data requirements, target-state improvements, and reusable governance patterns.
- Differentiate between recurring enterprise data issues and specific challenges tied to individual use cases.
- Engage and constructively challenge senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
What you need
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Possess five or more years of experience as a business analyst focusing on data, artificial intelligence, analytics, or technology transformation.
- Demonstrate strong business analysis and consulting experience specifically within the banking or financial services industry.
- Bring practical experience in data governance, data management, data strategy, or data transformation.
- Show knowledge of data ownership, metadata, data catalogues, business glossaries, lineage, data quality, controls, and data products.
- Exhibit strong requirements gathering, process mapping, workshop facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management capabilities spanning business, data, and technology domains.
- Hold unrestricted working rights in Singapore as a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, as visa sponsorship is not available.

- Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, or AI Data Enablement initiatives
- DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM knowledge
- Hong Kong or Singapore banking experience
