Reddit is hiring a remote Senior, Business Risk & AI Automation based in British Columbia, Canada. This position focuses on building an AI-first internal audit and risk function to drive the future of assurance through technology. Key Responsibilities

Architect and scale the SOX compliance program by creating AI-driven testing that improves accuracy and lowers manual work.
Test core business process controls, including financial reporting, payroll, revenue recognition, and equity compensation using agentic AI.
Partner cross-functional with groups like Legal, Sales, Finance and Accounting, and People & Culture to improve business processes and strengthen controls.
Act as a subject matter expert promoting the use of automation and artificial intelligence in risk management.
Promote a culture of excellence and innovation within the Risk Advisory and Assurance team.

Requirements

Possess two to four years of background working in compliance, internal audit, and/or a Big 4 accounting firm.
Bring experience supporting SOX testing and internal controls within the technology sector, ideally at platform companies.
Approach problem-solving with a proactive, creative, and results-oriented technology-first mindset.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced environment.
Professional credentials such as a CIA, CPA, CISSP, or CISA are preferred.
Capability to evaluate complex processes to spot risks and automation opportunities, along with hands-on AI tool and prompting experience.
