Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst position sits within the Business Operations department at Morgan & Morgan located in Chicago. This professional collaborates with operational leaders to eliminate manual tasks, enhance decision-making processes, and develop scalable solutions that drive firm-wide efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with leadership to discover, prioritize, and execute AI-driven process enhancements.
Create and maintain AI-powered workflows utilizing platforms like Claude Code and Cowork.
Work alongside engineering staff to establish document review and information extraction pipelines using LLMs and automated processes.
Develop automations that link internal systems, handle data reconciliation, and decrease manual workloads.
Test and refine AI workflows and prompts to maintain high-quality results.
Transform successful automations into reusable tools for various teams across the organization.
Create and oversee operational reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Superset, Salesforce/Litify, and Excel.
Extract and analyze operational data by writing SQL queries against Redshift.
Track the effectiveness of implemented automations to maximize business impact.
Research new AI capabilities and suggest operational upgrades.

Requirements

Three to six years of professional background in analytics, business operations, business intelligence, technical operations, or a related sector.
Practical experience creating solutions with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or GPT.
Demonstrated proficiency in Python and SQL.
Strong problem-solving abilities geared toward process optimization and tangible business results.
Capability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
A bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience in STEM, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Nice to Have

Background working with Power BI, Salesforce/Litify, Redshift, or comparable reporting and CRM tools.
