This full-time position suits an experienced developer with a customer-centric mindset who wants to build scalable backend systems for an AI-focused cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable services that power user-facing experiences on the cloud platform.

Build the notification and eventing backbone to keep customers informed about infrastructure states with delivery guarantees and preference controls.
Evolve the quota and entitlement system into a product surface supporting self-serve requests, transparent limits, and correctness under contention.
Harden and automate onboarding, provisioning, and identity flows to reduce time-to-first-GPU for new customers.
Extend the resource management layer to model, expose, and reconcile new infrastructure offerings efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product and design to evaluate tools and build innovative solutions.
Contribute to architectural decisions supporting reliability and maintainability, mentor engineers, and enhance hiring practices.
Requirements
3+ years of professional software development experience, including programming with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
Experience designing versioned public APIs like gRPC, protobuf, or REST alongside SDK, CLI, or Terraform provider surfaces.
Understanding of gateway and edge concerns including request routing, authn/authz enforcement, rate limiting, and input validation.
Proven ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems and develop managed cloud services.
Strong relational database skills in PostgreSQL, including schema design, transactions, isolation levels, and safe online migrations.
Practical experience with message queues and streaming systems like Kafka for reliable event-driven architectures.
Comfort building long-running, resumable workflows and reconciliation loops for provisioning and lifecycle management.
Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, microservices, and infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems.
Experience defining SLOs, instrumenting services with metrics, logs, and traces, and debugging production issues.

Direct experience building or scaling a public cloud console or developer platform.
Familiarity with the unique requirements of AI/ML workloads and their impact on cloud resource management.
