Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer, the focus will be on building advanced systems at the intersection of generative artificial intelligence and voice recognition. Key Responsibilities

Optimize the voice AI platform to achieve lower latency and enhanced scalability through open-source technologies.
Build interfaces and parallel processing pipelines to connect key system components like speech-to-text, voice activity detection, large language models, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
Establish data synchronization mechanisms for simultaneous voice and text streams within parallel workflows.
Develop abstraction layers for scalable language model usage while carefully balancing cost, performance, and accuracy.
Upgrade internal tools dedicated to system observability, continuous monitoring, and large-scale data inspection.
Construct vital integrations linking clinical workflows directly with company systems.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of professional background in software engineering.
