Role Overview

Truelogic is hiring a Senior Back-End/MLOps Engineer to join a marketplace team working at the intersection of product engineering and machine learning operations. The professional will support backend systems that drive search, ranking, and matching experiences while maintaining model deployment pipelines, feature stores, and real-time data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain full-stack features for marketplace products such as search, ranking, and user-facing applications.
Develop and support MLOps infrastructure including model deployment pipelines, feature stores, monitoring, and real-time data pipelines.
Partner with data scientists and engineers to deploy machine learning models reliably at scale.
Write clean, maintainable, tested code and engage in code reviews.
Participate in technical planning and divide complex problems into manageable tasks.
Address and resolve scalability, reliability, and performance issues within existing systems.
Utilize SQL, data pipelines, feature pipelines, and A/B testing frameworks.
Communicate status updates clearly, identify blockers early, and coordinate with distributed global teams.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack development backgrounds.
Proficiency in at least one programming language including Go, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Practical experience with MLOps or production machine learning systems utilizing platforms like Vertex AI, MLflow, or Kubeflow.
Familiarity with feature stores such as Chalk or comparable technologies.
Advanced SQL skills alongside experience handling data and feature pipelines.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Understanding of model deployment and foundational machine learning concepts.
Strong debugging capabilities, an ownership mindset, and effective communication skills.

Nice to Have

Background in search, ranking, recommendation systems, real-time systems, or latency optimization.
Prior experience in online marketplaces, frontend development, mentoring other engineers, A/B testing, or AI-assisted development tools.
