About this role

The Senior AI Solutions Engineer - GTM role at Oyster is a remote position based in the EMEA region that involves transforming Go-to-Market operations into AI-native workflows. This opportunity suits an experienced automation and AI professional who wants to design end-to-end intelligent solutions for a global employment platform.

Role Overview

Oyster is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer for its Go-to-Market (GTM) team, reporting directly to the AI Director. This senior, hands-on position goes beyond basic task automation by fundamentally reimagining how Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations function with artificial intelligence. The engineer will independently identify high-value opportunities, determine where AI should or should not be applied, and guide complex projects from initial discovery to measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Reimagine GTM operations to move teams from manually operating tools toward orchestrating AI-powered workflows with human judgment where it matters most.
Partner with GTM leadership to shape the AI roadmap, identifying and prioritizing high-impact transformation opportunities.
Own complex initiatives from ambiguous problem definition through design, build, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Design, build, test, and refine reliable AI agents, agentic workflows, automations, and integrations using large language models, APIs, enterprise data sources, and orchestration platforms.
Balance value, feasibility, risk, data quality, maintainability, and human oversight while recognizing when AI is not the appropriate solution.
Drive internal AI adoption by collaborating with GTM leaders and champions to help teams build reusable prompts and workflows.
Measure adoption, quality, reliability, and business impact after launch to continuously improve deployed solutions.
Build trust with stakeholders, share reusable patterns with peers across other departments, mentor colleagues, and raise overall team capabilities.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on AI and automation experience, backed by broader experience delivering complex solutions in GTM Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Revenue Operations, systems integration, or a related field.
A proven track record of redesigning operating models and workflows rather than simply automating isolated tasks.
Experience independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguous problems to measurable business impact.
Strong automation capabilities using orchestration technologies such as n8n, Zapier, or Make.
Direct hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, and improving production AI agents and agentic workflows using LLMs, APIs, tools, and enterprise data.
A solid understanding of B2B GTM operations across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations.
Experience integrating business systems via APIs, webhooks, and authentication mechanisms.
Strong critical judgment regarding where AI adds value versus where deeper process redesign or no automation is needed.
Ability to influence functional leaders, constructively challenge assumptions, and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A history of mentoring others, sharing expertise, and raising standards across a team.
