Key Responsibilities

Configure and administer Jira Service Management by managing workflows, reporting dashboards, permission schemes, and queues.
Maintain workplace engineering standards covering endpoint lifecycle management, application packaging, OS imaging, and patch management.
Deliver Service Desk support through ticket triage, user requests response, and initial troubleshooting for hardware, software, and user access.
Integrate artificial intelligence agents into service delivery workflows such as employee chatbots and self-service tools.
Collaborate alongside support and platform groups to pinpoint recurring issues and automate resolutions.
Review service data to determine automation priorities and measure operational impact.
Mentor junior team members while establishing engineering standards for automation best practices.
Participate in regular IT operations by monitoring and resolving items within the shared ticket queue.
Execute physical tasks like workstation setups, network device adjustments, hardware replacements, and conference room AV troubleshooting.

Requirements

Bring six or more years of professional background in engineering and workplace technology.
Demonstrate practical experience administering Jira systems.
Show familiarity working with ThousandEyes or comparable monitoring platforms.
Possess advanced scripting capabilities using Python and Bash.
Have working experience integrating Slack or similar communication utilities.
Feel comfortable utilizing mobile device management solutions like Iru alongside endpoint automation for macOS environments.
Maintain a solid grasp of foundational networking principles and endpoint security.
Demonstrate the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex cross-system technical challenges.
Live within a commutable distance to the London workspace to collaborate onsite from Monday through Wednesday during core hours.
