Security Programs Senior TPM - OT & Network Security
About this role
Data center operators and network engineers struggle with fragmented operational technology assets and inconsistent security visibility as infrastructure scales rapidly. This senior technical program manager role solves that challenge by standing up dedicated OT and network security programs from the ground up across owned data centers and third-party colocation sites. Working inside the product engineering organization, the incoming leader collaborates closely with security engineering, physical security, data center operations, and legal teams to establish authoritative asset inventories, vulnerability management lifecycles, and network security standards.
Candidates will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, translate complex technical priorities into structured program plans, and drive accountability across external vendors and internal stakeholders alike. Ideal practitioners bring extensive technical program management experience within security or network engineering domains, along with a pragmatic approach to handling specialized systems that resist conventional IT patching methods. This position suits organized operators who thrive in complex technical environments and excel at steering multi-site deployments without direct authority.
What you will do
- Establish the OT security program from scratch across company-owned data centers, covering networking, architecture, and asset management.
- Partner with data center operations to build and maintain an authoritative inventory of OT infrastructure, cooling systems, and physical security platforms.
- Operationalize an OT vulnerability management lifecycle with customized discovery, prioritization, and remediation SLAs.
- Drive security compliance and accountability across third-party colocation providers by defining clear standards and evidence requirements.
- Manage the network security program to maintain visibility into production network devices, configurations, and access rules.
- Partner day-to-day with security engineering leads to translate technical priorities into sequenced program plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, providing regular status updates and managing risks across workstreams.
What you need
- Possess at least 8 years of hands-on technical program management experience focused on security, data center infrastructure, or network engineering.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of operational technology environments, industrial control systems, or physical security platforms.
- Showcase a solid understanding of network security fundamentals including segmentation, access control lists, and device configuration management.
- Bring a proven ability to convert ambiguous problems into structured programs with clear ownership, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Exhibit experience driving security accountability and evidence standards with third-party vendors and colocation providers.
Nice to have
- Direct experience securing OT and ICS environments in a data center, critical infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with OT-specific frameworks and standards such as NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443, or the Purdue Model.
- Experience running network device inventory, hardening, or default-deny control-plane initiatives at multi-site scale.
- Background working with colocation or multi-tenant data center models, including provider governance and audit processes.
