Role Overview

As a Security Compliance Specialist, the professional will help build and run the cybersecurity compliance program at Mistral AI. The role involves setting up security frameworks, guiding teams through audits, and securing the necessary certifications to expand enterprise business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage the ongoing operations of the internal cybersecurity compliance program.
Build, implement, and maintain the Information Security Management System.
Oversee compliance tasks such as internal reviews, control checks, and external audits.
Gather and organize evidence from various departments to satisfy regulatory and certification requirements.
Guide internal teams on their specific duties regarding compliance goals.
Create and distribute cybersecurity training and awareness content.
Take part in risk assessments and follow up on remediation tasks.
Keep all compliance records, policies, procedures, and audit materials up to date.
Monitor updates in cybersecurity rules and standards to measure their impact on the enterprise.
Work alongside Legal, Sales, and Marketing departments to pinpoint key certifications for business growth.
Assess and rank new certification projects based on cost, effort, business value, and client needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years working in information security governance, cybersecurity compliance, risk management, or a comparable domain.
Practical background in assisting with compliance programs, audit procedures, or certifications.
Deep knowledge of security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, C5, SecNumCloud, or HDS.
Acquaintance with regulations including NIS2, DORA, LPM, or the Cyber Resilience Act.
Meticulous organizational habits and strong attention to detail for handling records and cross-functional coordination.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Capability to cooperate smoothly across operational, technical, legal, and commercial groups.
Full professional fluency in English.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with directives governing classified or sensitive data, such as IGI 1300 or II 901.
Proficiency in the French language.
