Role Overview

Crusoe operates as a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company, building energy-first systems to support massive AI workloads. As the Production Manager in Ponchatoula, the individual will take full ownership of manufacturing operations in a rapidly scaling environment. Working autonomously, the leader will direct custom project execution, speed-to-market initiatives, and operational excellence. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Direct all aspects of production at the Ponchatoula facility, focusing on product flow, resource planning, and project execution.
Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies while partnering with executives to enforce standard operating procedures.
Collaborate across departments including Project Management, Scheduling, Sales, and Engineering to maintain project alignment.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate department managers to cultivate a high-performing workplace culture.
Manage facility space, optimize machine and human resources, and minimize downtime to reduce manufacturing costs.
Set productivity targets, monitor performance metrics, and report directly to executive leadership.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in production management within a design and build manufacturing setting, including at least 4 years in a management capacity.
Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Build to Order (BTO), Configure to Order (CTO), and complex final assembly.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Acumatica, or Oracle, alongside Smartsheets and Google suite.
Ability to pass a background check and fulfill drug and alcohol program requirements due to the safety-sensitive nature of the facility.

Nice to Have

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, UL 508A, UL 891, UL1008, NEMA, and NEC standards.
Background in a start-up or greenfield manufacturing setting.
Experience producing power distribution equipment, switchgear, process automation, or robotics.
Multi-site production management experience and advanced capacity planning knowledge.
