About this role

Driving the vision, development, and delivery of a new go-to-market product constitutes the core daily focus for this role. Responsibilities center on building a scalable data curation pipeline that acts as the foundation for training computer vision models within federal agencies. Collaboration happens daily with engineering, data science, business development, and customer success teams to align product features with market demands and mission-critical requirements.

Accenture Federal Services maintains a dedicated focus on supporting US federal government agencies across defense, national security, public safety, and health organizations. The position sits within a technology company environment where qualified individuals manage product backlogs, define roadmaps, and navigate federal contracting mechanisms like OTAs and SBIR programs. Candidates who succeed here bring extensive product management experience alongside a firm grasp of machine learning workflows, stakeholder coordination, and security clearance requirements.

What you will do

  • Define and communicate the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a data curation pipeline tailored to computer vision model training.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog while collaborating with engineering and data science teams to design scalable pipelines.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales groups to build effective go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and positioning collateral.
  • Apply deep knowledge of federal agency contract mechanisms such as OTAs, SBIR/STTR programs, and IDIQ contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with legal, procurement, and compliance teams to support government contracting efforts and meet mission-critical standards.

What you need

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Bring 8 or more years of professional experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within AI, machine learning, or data-centric products.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of computer vision concepts, machine learning workflows, and data curation processes.
  • Show proven experience in developing and launching go-to-market products within competitive markets.
  • Maintain hands-on familiarity with data pipelines, metadata management, and data labeling tools.
  • Possess an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with federal-specific contract mechanisms and security clearance processes.
