Role Overview

Mistral AI is seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Science to join the team in Paris on a full-time basis. This position acts as the vital link connecting the science division with marketing, product, and go-to-market groups to shape engaging product narratives for advanced artificial intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Create precise positioning, messaging, and technical stories for foundation models and research breakthroughs.
Transform intricate artificial intelligence concepts like pre-training, post-training, reasoning, and inference into easily understood customer value.
Steer the technical aspects of model releases, generating launch messaging, technical articles, documentation, presentations, and demonstrations.
Build sales enablement assets, whitepapers, benchmark analyses, webinars, and workshops to guide enterprise buyers and developers.
Partner with sales, solutions engineering, and partnerships teams by supplying competitive insights and messaging.
Represent organizational technical leadership through analyst briefings, technical advisory boards, and industry events.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional background in product marketing, technical product marketing, solutions engineering, or technical marketing within enterprise software, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, or artificial intelligence.
Demonstrated history of collaborating closely with engineering or research divisions to release complex technical offerings.
Strong comprehension of modern artificial intelligence systems and large language models.
Ability to rapidly master sophisticated technical subjects and articulate their business advantages clearly.
Outstanding written communication skills tailored for executive and technical audiences.
Familiarity with developer ecosystems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise AI deployments.
Collaborative mindset, analytical curiosity, pragmatic approach, and passion for frontier artificial intelligence in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred academic background featuring a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, artificial intelligence, or a closely related technical field.

Nice to Have

Direct collaboration experience alongside machine learning engineering teams or artificial intelligence researchers.
Background in releasing artificial intelligence models, developer platforms, or technical enterprise solutions.
Track record of authoring technical marketing material that drove enterprise purchasing decisions or user adoption.
Enthusiasm for converting breakthrough research into customer-friendly narratives.
Location in Paris, readiness to relocate, or willingness to travel regularly to the Paris office.
