About this role

The Product Manager, Applied AI position at TLDR is a fully remote role based in the US and Canada suited for professionals with a strong background in shipping AI-native workflows. This opportunity invites a dedicated product leader to design agent-first operating layers and internal platforms used across the entire company.

Role Overview

TLDR is hiring its very first dedicated product manager for the Applied AI team. In this capacity, the professional will shape how the organization operates in an AI-native environment by transforming human-in-the-loop procedures into reliable agentic teammates. Working closely with engineering and operations partners, the candidate will ensure that internal workflows continuously evolve alongside improving language model capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Reimagine company operations for an AI-native world so that every internal process improves as models advance.
Convert human-in-the-loop workflows into reliable agent-based systems that act as dependable teammates.
Collaborate with software engineers on the software factory initiative to enable self-deploying specifications.
Partner with Strategy and Ops to translate current manual processes into automated, agentic equivalents.
Build evaluations and specifications while defining what successful outcomes look like.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a product manager.
Direct, hands-on experience building and shipping real AI-native products, LLMs, or agent workflows.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and own entire problem spaces rather than following a rigid roadmap.
Strong product judgment regarding what to automate, what requires human intervention, and where agent trust limits exist.
Ability to maintain prioritization under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Preference for decomposing messy human processes over shipping traditional features, measuring success primarily through adoption rather than launches.

Nice to Have

Experience productizing internal processes.
Background in running high-volume, multi-stakeholder intake.
Experience working close to go-to-market (GTM) functions.
