About this role
Glean requires a product manager to lead agent interoperability and partnerships, solving the challenge of scaling developer adoption across enterprise customers and ecosystem partners. This person will own the public APIs, software development kits, and Model Context Protocol strategy, defining how external developers integrate with the Work AI ecosystem.
Team members build intelligent search, assistants, and scalable agents on a secure platform backed by enterprise connectors and flexible large language models. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical fluency, writes code to test integrations firsthand, and treats support friction as a design defect rather than a documentation issue. Someone who thrives on clear abstractions, rigorous API contracts, and metric-driven developer experiences will succeed here.
What you will do
- Own the design, versioning, deprecation policies, and backwards-compatibility guarantees for public APIs and SDKs.
- Specify developer workflows end-to-end, covering authentication, onboarding, rate limiting, and webhooks.
- Write code, build sample applications, and run integrations personally to evaluate rough edges before customers do.
- Analyze support tickets and forum threads to identify recurring questions and fix underlying design defects.
- Define and defend core metrics including time-to-first-call, integration success rate, and API error rates.
- Lock API contracts and requirements prior to engineering execution while holding the line against mid-flight scope creep.
What you need
- Bring five or more years of product management experience working on platforms, developer experience, APIs, SDKs, or partnership-driven products.
- Demonstrate technical comfort working through API contracts, request payloads, logs, telemetry, and implementation tradeoffs with engineers.
- Show a proven background in building or leading robust, scalable APIs and SDKs that external developers adopt easily.
- Possess strong product taste for developer interfaces, focusing on clear abstractions, consistent resource design, and machine-readable errors.
- Collaborate directly with customer and partner developers to translate external needs into platform improvements.
- Write clearly and produce concise specifications, accurate documentation, and intuitive developer experiences.
Benefits
- Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage
- Generous time-off policy
- 401k plan contribution
