About this role
DataCamp is building learning systems that empower millions of users worldwide with essential data and artificial intelligence skills. As a Senior Product Engineer on this team, you will take large, ambiguous projects from the initial idea phase through to release and iteration with high autonomy. Rather than working through a standard ticket queue, you will prototype, measure results, and collaborate directly with product and design partners to shape the technical direction of the platform.
Operating within an AI-native environment, you will rely daily on agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Codex, large language models, and AI application programming interfaces. The ideal candidate brings a startup mindset, expert knowledge of microservices, and a strong product perspective to build scalable, reliable services that serve a global user base.

- Guide the technical architecture and implementation strategy for core platform services.
- Maintain scalable, reliable, and observable production services powered increasingly by large language models.

- Demonstrate hands-on background working in startup or early-stage, fast-paced environments.
- Possess at least six months of daily, practical use of agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Codex.
