Role Overview

BJAK seeks a product engineer to take ownership of specific product areas within its AI Stockbroking initiative. This position centers on understanding user needs, shaping product direction, collaborating closely with design and engineering teams, and continuously improving released features.

Key Responsibilities

Manage product areas spanning insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, and related financial offerings
Establish user problems, define product scopes, set success metrics, build roadmaps, and plan launches
Collaborate alongside engineering, design, data, operations, compliance, and business units
Simplify complex financial concepts into accessible customer user journeys
Apply data insights, user feedback, research, and production insights to refine product decisions
Release features, track ongoing performance, and manage iterative updates
Balance trade-offs between delivery speed, user experience, business outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational needs

Requirements

Background working as a Product Engineer, Product Owner, founder, growth or product operator, or in similar capacities
Demonstrated product intuition and capability to streamline complex workflows
Experience partnering alongside engineers and designers to release functional products
Familiarity utilizing metrics, user feedback, experimentation, and post-launch analysis
Proficiency in writing, prioritization, and cross-functional stakeholder management
High level of personal ownership and the capability to execute tasks autonomously
Strong English communication skills for collaborating across global teams
Must already be based in South Korea

Background working within fintech, insurance, payments, consumer applications, or other high-growth product environments
