Role Overview

BJAK seeks a product engineer to take ownership of product domains within its AI Neobank initiative. The professional will shape product direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, release features rapidly, and continually refine offerings based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of product areas covering insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, and additional financial services.
Establish user problems, product scope, success metrics, roadmaps, and launch plans.
Collaborate alongside engineering, design, data, operations, compliance, and business units.
Convert intricate financial concepts into straightforward and usable customer journeys.
Utilize data, research, user feedback, and production insights to guide product decisions.
Release features, track performance metrics, and execute continuous iterations.
Balance trade-offs between execution speed, user experience, business value, compliance rules, and operational requirements.

Requirements

Professional background functioning as a Product Engineer, Product Owner, founder, growth operator, or similar capacity.
Demonstrated product sense paired with the capability to streamline complex workflows.
Experience collaborating directly with engineers and designers to deliver tangible products.
Familiarity utilizing metrics, conducting experiments, processing user feedback, and learning post-launch.
Advanced writing abilities alongside prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
High sense of ownership with the capacity to drive initiatives independently.
Main working language is English, requiring strong English communication skills.
Must be based in Portugal.
