Key Responsibilities

Define end-to-end requirements for artificial intelligence capabilities, covering model behavior, system performance, and user experience.
Translate technical constraints, model capabilities, and evaluation results into clear product decisions.
Balance quality, latency, cost, reliability, safety, and user experience tradeoffs.
Collaborate closely with machine learning, backend, and client engineering personnel on system architecture, evaluation, and iteration.
Establish and evolve evaluation frameworks utilizing offline metrics, online experiments, and human feedback.
Identify failure modes to ensure predictable system behavior and graceful recovery.

Requirements

Possess strong computer science fundamentals and system design abilities.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of modern machine learning and production AI system behavior.
Bring significant experience taking complex technical products from conception to completion.
Show hands-on practice with artificial intelligence products, particularly large language model systems.
Maintain familiarity with model evaluation, experimentation, prompting, and iterative improvement.
