Role Overview

Mistral AI is looking for a Product Director, Studio to join the team in Paris. This full-time leadership position suits an experienced technical product leader ready to own the strategy and shape the future of the Studio platform.

Studio helps corporate clients build, evaluate, and operate artificial intelligence solutions safely and reliably at scale. In this role, the individual will define the product vision, guide cross-functional execution, and grow the product management organization to redefine the enterprise AI builder experience.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and yearly goals for Studio while taking accountability for its business outcomes.
Build and mentor the product management team by hiring talent, setting stream leads, and establishing a regular operating cadence including quarterly reviews.
Partner closely with engineering leadership to scope and sequence the product roadmap, balancing rapid customer wins with long-term platform investments.
Conduct strategic customer discovery alongside managed product managers to understand user needs.
Collaborate with marketing and go-to-market teams to shape product positioning, pricing, packaging, and adoption strategies.
Work cross-functionally with other leaders to secure a unified customer journey.

Requirements

Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in product management.
Demonstrate deep expertise in building technical platforms, infrastructure, or developer tools tailored for enterprise customers alongside fluency in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Prove a strong background in people leadership, including hiring senior product managers, organizing teams, and building robust operating cadences.
Show direct experience in launching and scaling complex products.
Exhibit a proven ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams without relying on direct authority.
Maintain a low-ego, highly pragmatic approach with a strong bias for action, high emotional intelligence, and comfort with both high-level strategy and granular details.
Possess exceptional communication skills suited for executives, team members, and end-users.
Thrive effectively in dynamic settings where business priorities frequently shift.
