The AI is seeking a Product Designer to join their team in San Francisco with remote flexibility. This role suits a creative professional with strong technical skills who wants to build innovative, AI-moderated research solutions for global enterprises.

Role Overview

The AI invites a skilled Product Designer to shape intuitive and magical user experiences within a fast-moving, AI-native product environment. Collaborating closely with the Founding Designer, product teams, and engineering, this individual will own challenges from initial conception through to functional, coded prototypes. The position requires working from the San Francisco office at least four days per week to collaborate directly with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver meaningful business impact.
Develop wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, and interactive prototypes for new and existing product features.
Construct functional, front-to-back prototypes in code to accelerate the validation process.
Integrate AI coding workflows into daily design practices to transition seamlessly from concepts to working software.
Push full-stack code confidently to iterate, test, and occasionally deploy updates directly to production.
Navigate standard development environments, including git workflows, local setups, and pull request reviews.
Execute user research and usability testing initiatives to keep user needs at the center of data-driven decisions.
Help maintain and expand a cohesive, accessible design system.

Requirements

Background in designing digital products, preferably within fast-paced startup or SaaS settings.
Exceptional design aesthetic and portfolio evidence demonstrating strong visual and user experience judgment.
Strong communication skills to clearly articulate design choices.
Growth mindset with readiness to experiment, adapt, and learn quickly.
Proven capability to write and ship full-stack code such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
Daily fluency with AI-driven coding assistants and design tools.
Familiarity operating within development environments using the terminal, local builds, and git.
Experience working alongside agile, cross-functional teams.
